From Venice to Murano: Finding the Real Artists Behind the Glass
September 16, 2026My journey from Venice to Murano and Burano was about finding genuine art glass and meeting the real people behind it. I discovered Roberta Piga creating miniature treasures at El Bon Bon, explored the colourful family tradition of Artistico BomBon and experienced the impressive craftsmanship of the Yalos Murano factory. I returned with some incredible pieces, valuable new connections and the perfect excuse to visit again. My finds will soon be available through my Whatnot store and live shows, including exclusive test samples connectedM to the late Joe Tilson’s glass installation at the Ausonia Hungaria hotel on Venice Lido.
